1 Scribe separation line on rear fender (1) (area X).
Transfer separation line from vehicle (area X).
2 Cut rear fender (1) at separation line (area X).
3 Remove section on rear fenders (1).

4 Punch Ø 7 mm holes on rear fender (areas Y and Z).
5 Grind crosshatched areas around holes down to bare metal.
6 Sand connection surfaces down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.
7 Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
