1 Carefully heat up side wall braces (23) in cargo space with hot air gun and loosen glued connections (29).

2 Cut out silicon sealant (22) between side wall paneling bottom section (13) and longitudinal members (21) with universal cutter.

3 Cut out spot welds on bottom edge of side wall paneling bottom section (13) (arrow).

4 Cut spot welds out of wheelhouse (arrow).

5 Mark horizontal cutting line (30) in center of bead (31).

6 Mark vertical cutting line (32) next to seal (33).

7.1 Cut out spot welds (36) up to center of bead (31). (Only vehicles except CODE (T93) cargo space sliding door eliminated).

8.1 Mark vertical cutting line (34) next to seal (35). (Only vehicles with CODE (T93) cargo space sliding door eliminated).

9 Separate side wall paneling bottom section along marked cutting lines.

 Maximum cutting depth 2 mm. Keep away from heat to avoid distortion of the components when separating.

10 Remove side wall paneling bottom section.

11 Cut out all accessible spot welds (37).

12 Separate spot welds in remaining sheet metal (38) in area of side wall brace (23)
and of side wall carrier (21) with body chisel.

13 Remove remaining sheet metal (38).

14 Pull off rubber channel (20).

15 Clean gluing surfaces.

16 Remove clip nuts (54) from reinforcement (55).

Only vehicles with CODE (T93) Cargo space sliding door eliminated

17.1 Carefully grind down remaining sheet metal (39) up to height of C-pillar (40).

18.1 Carefully open separating joint (41) slightly with body chisel.

19.1 Remove all sealant and glue in area of side wall paneling bottom section.
