Remove/install

Remove the cover (4) from the steering wheel (2)

Loosen the nut (3) from the steering column (1)

 Installation: Check the reference markings (arrow) for aligning and installing the steering wheel (2) on the steering column (1).

Remove the steering wheel (2)

 On vehicles with keys on the steering wheel (2), be careful not to damage the contact spiral (5) and its electric harness/connectors.

Loosen the screws (6) and remove the contact spiral (2)

Type 382.111/123/15/17/18, 634.0

 Prevent that the contact spiral (5) exit from the zero position, fixing them with adhesive tape, thus maintaining the alignment of the electrical connectors (Arrow).

 Installation: Observe the mounting marking of the contact spiral (5).

Install on the reverse order
