1 Fit dial indicator holder (1) and dial indicator (2) onto axle housing.
2 Spin ring gear (3) several times.
3 Place dial gauge tip on dial indicator (2) with preload on the ring gear (3) and adjust gear backlash by screwing in or out the threaded rings (4) using claw wrench.
Measure the gear backlash at three points on the ring gear (3).
