Pushing off
1 Remove self-locking nut (2) from flange ball joint (1).
If necessary, steady ball stud using hexagon socket wrench.
2 Pry flange ball joint (1) using puller (4) out of steering knuckle.
3 Remove puller (4).
4 Check rubber boot (3) for signs of damage, replace if necessary.
Installation
5 Clean tapered connection.
6 Replace self-locking nut (2) and bolt on.
Pay attention to tightening torque.
