 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure it with the safety strut.

Remove filler cap (7) from filler connection

Extract engine oil by suction through dipstick guide tube (5)

Only extract engine oil with engine at working temperature.

 Refer to suction equipment manufacturers' operation manual.
Dispose of used engine oil in a proper, environmentally sound way.

4.2

Engine oil removal through drain plug (4)

Only drain engine oil with engine at working temperature.


Observe drain plug tightening torque.
Otherwise, the oil pan may be damaged.

 Collect used engine oil in a suitable container and allow oil to drain completely. Dispose of used engine oil in a proper, environmentally sound way.

 Replace drain plug sealing ring (4).

Refill

Check the oil quality indication on the Telligent® maintenance system and, if necessary, adjust the oil quality to be used.

Fill in the specified oil quantity through the filler connection.

Replace filler cap (7) on filler connection



Start the engine, let it idle for 1 or 2 minutes and then shut the engine down


Do not increase engine speed while oil pressure is not yet being indicated.
This may damage the engine.

 Observe the oil pressure indication. After a few seconds engine oil pressure should be shown.

Check engine oil level on the display after waiting for approximately 5 minutes, replenish oil as necessary to correct engine oil level

The waiting time must be obeyed.

Refill the automatic engine oil replenishing reservoir to the max. marking
