In a service case or when working on the engine, it is often necessary to tilt the cab. Before tilting the cab, activate the service mode; otherwise an emergency call will be triggered.
Activation of service mode
Switch on ignition.
Wait until the LED indicator lamp (3) permanently lights up green or yellow.
Fold up transparent cover (1).
Press SOS button and service button (4) for at least 15 seconds. The LED indicator lamp (3) flashes in the sequence red-yellow-green. The service button flashes red.
An announcement is made in Russian that the service button (4) has to be pressed.
Press the service button (4) within five seconds.
The system's service mode is activated. The service button (4) and SOS button flash green-red at the same time. A short warning tone sounds.
Information on the service mode
If, after pressing the SOS button and service button (4) for 15 seconds, these do not begin flashing as described above, the process must be stopped and repeated. If the service mode is no longer activated, the ERA-GLONASS system is in normal mode again.
If you tilt the cab in normal mode, you trigger an emergency call automatically.

Information on the ERA-GLONASS system
If the ignition is switched off, the SOS button and service button (4) continue to light up permanently with white background illumination. Also, the LED indicator lamp (3) continues to light up green. For safety reasons, the ERA-GLONASS system is equipped with its own battery. It can take over 20 minutes for the system to switch itself off completely. It is only then that the button illumination goes out completely.
