The recommended wheel/tire combinations are only applicable if the dimensions have been entered in the registration papers in the factory or a corresponding parts certificate is available. In the case of wheel/tire combinations not entered in the registration papers, a corresponding parts certificate/release certificate should be handed over to the customer.
All wheel/tire combinations listed here may only be fitted without any further action being required if they are entered in the registration papers under items 20 to 23 and 33 or the required TÜV certificates are available.
The particular size designation of the rim is only applicable to the specified model series. Deviations in the contour of the wheel or the brake system can, despite identical nominal sizes, result on a different model series in contact with the tangential components and adversely affect operational safety.
In the case of wheel/tire combinations that require modifications to the body and/or the chassis, legislation in the Federal Republic of Gemany requires that a installation certificate be issued by a specialist or inspector from a technical testing body for motor vehicle traffic, or by a test engineer from an offically recognized supervisory body.
Unless otherwise specified, only light alloy rims are permissible.
Unless otherwise specified, all wheel/tire combinations are approved for operation with snow chains.
The recommended tire makes are listed in alphabetical order. No suggestion of priority is intended.
