The coolant temperature sensor (B65) is located in the front area of the engine above the coolant pump.

Coolant temperature sensor - task

The coolant temperature sensor (B65), in which there is a temperature-dependent resistance with negative temperature coefficients (NTC), allows the engine control (MR) to detect the coolant temperature and deduce the engine temperature.
