1 Remove side roof molding strips, replace.

2 Mask side roof molding channel with masking tape.

3 Mask windshield with cord.

4.1 On models with lamella sliding roof:

Mask rubber gasket on lamella sliding roof with Stego tape or plastic intermediate layers. Cover lamellas with masking paper.

5 Cover complete vehicle with masking paper.

In order to achieve a continuous transition to the present paintwork in the roof channel at the rear window mask as follows:

6 Mask roof channel with masking tape (leave approx. 20 mm extending up).

7 Fold upward extending masking tape back and glue onto masking paper.

After completing the paintwork (before drying) pull off the masking tape folded back so that the wet paint can run at the transition without an edge.
