1 Remove washer nozzle, center strip, end strip, license plate, model plate, tailgate lock, Mercedes star and molding on rubber rear window seal.
2 Press rubber rear window seal (1) into rear window channel with plastic wedge.
3 Mask washer nozzle and tailgate lock openings from inside with 50 mm wide masking tape.

4 Mask tailgate channel all the way around overlapping with 50 mm wide masking tape.
5 Close tailgate and mask adjacent surfaces with overlapping masking tape.

6 Mask rear window with 50 mm wide masking tape and masking paper.
7 Mask license plate lamps (1), mounting holes for license plate (2) and trunk lock (3) with masking tape.
8 Cover complete vehicle with masking paper.
Pull rubber rear window seal out of rear window channel immediately after drying.
