Remove/install

Open soft top

Open soft top compartment cover

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m)

Disconnect ground line for on-board electrical system battery (G1)

Remove left and right side paneling (2)

Place foam (3) to one side.

Unscrew nuts (4) and remove sidebag unit (1)

 Nut, rear sidebag unit to body

Release retainer (5) and disconnect electrical connection (6) from sidebag unit (1)

Install in the reverse order



Check

10

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using diagnostic system

When replacing sidebag unit (1).


