| Remove/install | ||
1 | Move steering wheel all the way to the rear | ||
2 | Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
3 | Disconnect battery ground line | ||
4 | Remove bolts (2) | Bolt, airbag to steering wheel | |
5 | Remove driver airbag (1) far enough to gain access to the electrical connectors (3, 4) | ||
6 | Release and disconnect electrical connections (3) | ||
7 | Release and disconnect electrical connections (4) | Removal lever | |
8 | Remove driver airbag (1) | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

10 | Check and erase vehicle fault memory using the diagnostic system | When replacing the driver airbag (1). | |
