Remove seat-back lining from left or right front seat backrest

Disconnect battery ground line

Disconnect driver NECK-PRO head restraint electrical connector (X150/1) or front passenger NECK-PRO head restraint electrical connector (X150/2)

Unclip head restraint (1) from support (arrow A) of driver seat head restraint adjustment seat adjustment motor, (M27/4) or the front passenger seat head restraint adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/4)

With code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory or code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)

Installation: Ensure that head restraint (1) is seated correctly in support (arrow A).

Lift spring U-bolt (arrow B) of left head restraint guide (2), pull out head restraint (1) and route electrical wiring harness (3) through the right head restraint guide (2)

For vehicles without code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory or code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors), the adjusting button on the grab handle of the front seat backrest must also be released to remove the head restraint (1).
