Danger! | Risk of injury from roll bar extending | Before working in the area of the roll bar, pull out the rear head restraints by hand. | |
1 | Lower soft top and leave soft top compartment lid open | ||
2 | Move both front seats forward | ||
3 | Remove covers (5). | ||
4 | Remove nuts (6) of rear seat cushions (1 and 2) | ||
5 | Pull out rear seat cushions (1 and 2) toward front | ||
6 | Remove nuts (7) at rear center console (4) | ||
7 | Disconnect and remove connector (8) at rear center console (4) | ||
8 | Remove bolts (9) | Screw at belt end fitting | |
9 | Loosen nuts (10) | ||
10 | Unplug plug (12) | ||
11 | Pull rear seat backrest (3) forward and then remove toward top; while doing so, guide seat belt through plastic eye (11) | ||
12 | Install in the reverse order |
