Remove front floor mat

Open flap (1) of seat console (2)

Remove vehicle jack (3) and vehicle tool kit (4)

 Only when removing the front passenger seat.

Move seat backrest to foremost position

Remove screws (5) of seat console (2)

Tilt seat with mounting support backwards carefully until the left and right seat heating connector coupling, 4-pin (X54/12) and the seat adjustment unit feed connector coupling, 4-pin (X54/4) are accessible


When tilting the seat, do not kink the fiber optic cable.
Otherwise, they will be damaged.

 Only on vehicles with code SK2, SK3, and H10.

Disconnect left and right seat heating connector coupling, 4-pin (X54/12) and seat adjustment feed connector coupling, 4-pin (X54/4)

Disconnect front passenger seat occupancy recognition connector coupling (6)

 Only on model 463 as of 9.96.

Remove seat with mounting support (2) from passenger compartment


For vehicles with code EP5:
When removing and installing the seat, do not kink the fiber optic cable. Place seat onto a suitable base.
Otherwise, they will be damaged.

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test on electrical components of seat

 Only on vehicles with code SK2, SK3, and H10.
