Remove/install

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and commission HERMES control unit (N112/9).

If the HERMES control unit (N112/9) has been replaced.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Release the bottom trim for the instrument panel on the driver's side and remove it from the working area with attached electric lines.

Disconnect electrical connectors (2).

The number of electrical connections (2) may vary depending on vehicle equipment.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Remove HERMES control unit (N112/9).

Install in the reverse order

Check

Run function test of emergency call system using vehicle diagnosis system.
