Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Unscrew nut (2) on wiper arm (3)

Remove wiper arm (3) in parked position

Installation: Attach the wiper arm (3) so that it points towards the right and is parallel to the lower edge of the window.
