Transfer basic data from EIS control unit (N73) to STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only when replacing EIS control unit (N73)

 Installation: Transfer basic data from STAR DIAGNOSIS to EIS control unit (N73).
On vehicles with electric glass sliding/pop-up roof, code 414a always perform teach-in run for obstruction sensor unit of sliding roof.



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Unscrew rosette (2)  using claw-type wrench



Remove EIS control unit (N73) from instrument panel bottom section (3) downward until electrical connectors (4) are accessible

Remove selector lever release cab (1) from EIS control unit (N73)

Unplug electrical connectors (4) and remove electronic ignition switch control unit (N73)

Install in the reverse order
