Remove/install

Remove fuse 30 in seat base

By pulling fuse 30, the sliding door is not under tension and the buzzer does not sound when actuating the emergency release.

Actuate lever (2) on outer emergency release (1) and arrest

Actuate lever (10) on inner emergency release (4) and arrest

Remove bolts (3) from inner emergency release (4)

Slightly pull out emergency release (4) from sliding door

Unscrew bolt nipple (9) and pull cable (5) out adjustment screw (7)

Installation: Adjust adjustment screw (7) so that play is no longer present without load on inner emergency release (4) for control cable (5) lever (10).

When replacing inner emergency release (4), transfer adjustment screw (7) with nut (6).

Install in the reverse order

Completely open sliding door with switch on center console and close again
