Remove/install paneling on B-pillar

Remove/install

Open left or right front and rear door

2

Move front seat and backrest toward front

Loosen edge guard (2) from front door and edge guard from rear door (3) on B-pillar

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard (2) on front door and edge guard (3) on rear door is seated correctly on B-pillar.

Remove cover (4) from seat belt guide bracket(5).

 Installation: Ensure that cover (4) is seated correctly on seat belt guide bracket (5).

Unscrew bolt (6) and remove seat belt guide bracket (5)



Pull outer edges of B-pillar paneling (7) apart in upper area and tilt bottom B-pillar paneling (7) to inside

 Installation: Ensure that bottom B-pillar paneling (7) is seated correctly on upper B-pillar paneling (1).

Press off clips (8) on both sides with suitable screwdriver

 Carefully loosen clips (8) to prevent damaging paint on B-pillar.

Loosen upper B-pillar paneling (1) from clips (9) with mounting wedge and remove



 Installation: Move cover (10) according to position of belt height adjuster.

Ensure that upper B-pillar paneling (1) is seated correctly in clips (9).

Remove clips (8) from upper B-pillar paneling (1)

When replacing upper B-pillar paneling (1).

Install in the reverse order
