1 Mark installation position of make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) on new headliner (4).
Take up installation position of make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) from old headliner (4).
2 Prime gluing surfaces of adhesive tape strips (2, 6) later to be attached to new headliner (4) with prescribed MB special adhesive.

Ensure that the distance between the gluing surfaces is not too large.If the distance is too large, the make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) may not make firm contact to the headliner after gluing on, thereby causing noises.
See illustration for position of adhesive strips (2, 6).
Observe processing notes for MB special adhesive.
Drying time, depending on outside temperature:
5 to 10 min.

3 Align make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) on headliner (4) and clip left and right sun visor counterbearing (3) into headliner (4).
Use new make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1).
Observe installation direction: The electrical connections of the two sun visor counterbearings (3) point toward rear.
4 Hook make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) into hooks (5).
5 Glue on make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) to headliner (4) with an approx. 10 cm long adhesive tape strip (2) as illustrated.
Use specified adhesive tape since a non-approved adhesive tape can loosen from the headliner (4).Press on adhesive tape strips (2, 6) firmly, otherwise, the make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) can loosen from the headliner (4). The distance between the adhesive tape strips (2) should not be too large.If the distance is too large, the make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) may not make firm contact to the headliner after gluing on, thereby causing noises.
6 Glue on make-up mirror illumination wiring harness (1) to headliner (4) with an approx. 2x4 cm large adhesive strip (6) as illustrated.
