Remove CD player with changer (in glove box)

Remove cover below dashboard (right)

 Place cover with connected interior socket in footwell.

On vehicles with code (876) Interior lights package, do not separate the electrical connector on the right front footwell lamp.

Remove bolts (3)

Remove glove box (1) from dashboard (4) until electrical connectors (5) in glove box illumination with switch (E13/2) and on glove box CL motor (M14/18) are accessible.

 Installation: On vehicles with code (819) 6-disc CD changer: Note installation position of electrical wiring harness and fiber optic cable for CD player with changer (in glove box ).

Remove AUX jack from glove box

On vehicles without code (518) Media interface

Disconnect electrical connectors (5) from glove box illumination with switch (E13/2) and from glove box CL motor (M14/18)

Remove glove box (1)

 Installation: On vehicles with code (494) USA version and up to vehicle identification end no. 096212 it is necessary to transfer the connector housing on the wiring harness for the glove box CL motor (M14/18) when replacing the glove box (1). See: 
