1 | Remove cover below instrument panel (7) on right | ||
2 | Unscrew bolts (2) | Rechargeable battery-powered drill/screwdriver | |
3 | Loosen edge guard (3) in area of cover (4) | Installation: Ensure that edge guard (3) is seated correctly | |
4 | Open glove compartment cover (1) and remove cover (4) | | |
Installation: Ensure that cover (4) is seated correctly on glove compartment (1) | |||
5.1 | Remove CD changer | On vehicles with code (819) 6-disk CD changer | |
6 | Unscrew bolt (5). | Rechargeable battery-powered drill/screwdriver | |
7 | Remove covers above bolts (6) with suitable screwdriver. | ||
8 | Remove screws (6) | Rechargeable battery-powered drill/screwdriver | |
9 | Remove glove compartment (1) from instrument panel (7) until electrical connector in glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) is accessible | Installation: Ensure that glove compartment (1) is seated properly in instrument panel (7). | |
10 | Disconnect electrical connector from glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2) | ||
11.1 | Remove air duct (8) for glove compartment air conditioning from glove | On vehicles with code (580) Automatic air conditioning or with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning | |
12 | Remove glove compartment (1) | ||
13 | Install in the reverse order |
