2 | Unscrew bolt (2) and remove interior fuse box (F34) form instrument panel carrier (1) with lines connected | ||
3 | Remove jacket tube (3) from instrument panel carrier (1) | Before lowering jacket tube (3) cover floor paneling in footwell to prevent soiling floor covering. | |
Lower bolt for jacket tube on crossmember below instrument panel | |||
Upper bolt, jacket tube to crossmember below instrument panel | |||
4.1 | Disconnect electrical connector (5) | On vehicles with code (580a) Automatic air conditioning | |
5 | Separate electrical connectors (6) | ||
6 | Remove all tie straps from instrument panel carrier (1) and expose wiring harness (4) on instrument panel carrier (1) | Observe installation position of wiring harness (4) | |
7 | Unscrew nuts (7) | ||
8 | Unscrew bolt (8) from transmission tunnel | Installation:Tighten bolts (8) free of tension. | |

9 | Unscrew bolts (9) from firewall | Installation:Tighten bolts (9) free of tension. | |

10 | Unscrew bolts (10) from left and right A-pillar | Installation:Tighten bolts (10) free of tension. | |

11 | Remove instrument panel carrier (1) from vehicle | Helper required | |
Installation: Align AC/heater housing | |||
12 | Install in the reverse order |
