Danger! | Risk of injury when performing check and repair work in area of roll bar | Before working in the area of the roll bar, pull out the rear head restraints by hand. Keep body parts out of the area where the roll bar extends. | |

1 | Set up soft top bow and open soft top compartment lid | ||
2 | Unscrew nut (1) on both sides | Model 209.4 | |
3 | Lift headliner (2) out of groove in area of rear window (3) | The edge stripping on the headliner (2) is fasted with five clips. | |
4 | Disconnect rear window heater couplings (6, 7) from rear window (3). | ||
5 | Unscrew nuts (4) | | |
6 | Lift rear window (3) upward out of frame and then remove | Lay rear window (3) down on suitable base | |
7 | Heat seal (5) on rear window (3) with hot air blower and scrape off | Replace seal (5) each time when removing the rear window (3), otherwise water can penetrate into the vehicle. | |
New rear window (3) is delivered without seal (5). | |||
