1 Central bolt

2 Bolts on spare wheel recess

3 Nuts on longitudinal member

4 Nuts on rubber/metal bearing

 	Remove/install
Danger!	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	All models	AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	The scissor strut should not be distorted.If necessary, loosen and retighten all bolts.Tighten central bolt (1) last.
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000RT
2	Loosen central bolt (1).	 Loosen only, do not unscrew.

3	Unscrew nuts from longitudinal member (3).	 On both sides of vehicle.
			*BA61.10-P-1004-01F
4	Unscrew bolts from spare wheel recess (2).		*BA61.10-P-1001-01F
5	Unscrew nuts from rubber/metal bearing (4) and remove scissor strut.		*BA61.10-P-1003-01F
6	Check scissor strut for deformation and damage, replace if necessary.
7	Install in the reverse order
