Remove retainer (6) and remove shift rod (8) from the intermediate lever (3).
Installation: Install new retainer (6) and bushing (7).
Only on model 463.244/247/250/254/303/306/309/322/332/336/340

Remove ground line from the body ground (W42).

Disconnect electrical connector (9) from the transfer case actuator motor (M46/2).

Disconnect degassing hose (10) of the battery from the compound.

Remove mount (11) of the Bowden cable (13) of the left and right parking brake from the underbody.

Unscrew both adjusting nuts (12).
Installation: : Adjust parking brake.

Unhook both Bowden cables (13) of the parking brake from the parking brake lever (14) and push downward through the guides (15).

Install in the reverse order.
