Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts

Open right rear maintenance flap in interior compartment and at rear

Unscrew bolts (3) and turn flange to the side

The flange is attached with 3 bolts.

A beveled metal ring is inserted as a sealing and for correct seating in the flange of the front muffler (4).

Installation: Insert metal ring and tighten bolts (3) evenly all-around.

Disconnect exhaust flex pipe (7) from turbocharger

Unscrew nuts (6) and remove front muffler (4)

Install in the reverse order
