Remove right rear wheel well cover

Check fill level in fuel tank

If fill level is above fuel tank neck (9), suction off fuel:

Empty/fill fuel tank

Loosen hose clamps (2)

Installation: Replace hose clamps (2).

Detach hoses (3)

Installation: Check hoses (3) and replace if necessary.

Detach fuel tank vent hoses (5) at fuel tank

Installation: Check vent hoses (5) and replace if necessary.

Loosen hose clamps (7)

Detach connecting hose (8) from fuel tank neck (9)

Installation: Ensure connecting hose (8) is correctly attached otherwise fuel vapors or fuel may escape.

Installation: Check connecting hose (8) and replace if necessary.

Seal opening at tank connector pipe (9)

To prevent dirt ingress.

Remove filler neck (6)

To do this, undo bolt (10), remove tank filler cap and push connecting hose (8) at filler neck (6) upwards.

Install in the reverse order
