Check oil level in level control

Correct if necessary.

Pull down rear of vehicle to the specified control point (simulate loading condition). Hook pulling device (040b) with mounting pin (040g) onto frame floor next to the rear mount of the rear axle carrier and lock (arrows). Place measuring device (02) on inside of spring link

 Scan control point with contact arm on the rear axle shaft.

Adjusting

Push in, pull out 4 mm alignment tool through the bore (arrow) in adjusting lever (3a) of level control (3)

When the adjustment is correct, the alignment tool can be pushed into the positioning bore in the level controller.

If the adjustment is defective, loosen adjuster of connecting rod (55a). Fix adjusting lever (3a) of level controller (3) in position with 4 mm alignment tool through the bore (arrow) and tighten connecting rod adjuster in this position.
