Remove elements (arrows) from collector box .

1 Place transmission rear housing with main shaft and intermediate shaft in collector box.

2 Prepare the hydraulic press in accordance with transmission dimensions and use an appropriate mandrel to remove the main shaft under pressure.

During the removal operation use a screwdriver to pull control rails (1) slightly upward to keep them from turning toward the guide plate (arrow).

3 Remove transmission rear housing.

Transmission 711.620/ 622 with power take-off: make sure that shims for axial clearance adjustment of power take-off intermediate shaft remain in place.
