1 Shift selector lever on P and switch off ignition .
2 Remove cover (1) at center console.

3 Detach control unit of charge air cooling (N90) from base.
4 Bridge PIN 2 and PIN 5 at base
Ensure that the correct pins are bridged. PIN numbering at the base does not correspond to the PIN numbering on the control unit for charge air cooling (N90). Bridging allows actuation of the charge air cooling circulation pump (M44).
5 Open catch on coolant expansion reservoir.
Check coolant level and correct if necessary.
6 Switch on ignition.
The charge air cooling circulation pump (M44) bleeds the charge air cooling system.
7 Allow charge air cooling circulation pump (M44) to run until no more bubbles are rising.
8 Switch off ignition.
9 Install in reverse sequence.
