| Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.

| Pull oil dipstick out of the guide tube and clean.
|
|
| Vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels.
False measurements can occur otherwise.

| Insert oil dipstick all the way and leave in this position for at least 3 seconds.
|
4
| Pull oil dipstick out of the guide tube and read out oil level; if necessary pour in engine oil up to the mark "max.".
|
|
| After the oil level check check for correct seating of the oil dipstick.
