1 | Remove left-hand air filter housing | ||
2 | Remove soundproofing of left rail | ||
3 | Release and disconnect electrical connections (1) | ||
4 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | ||
5 | Pull ignition coils (3) with spark plug connectors upwards and out | The ignition coils (3) and the spark plug connector create a unit and can therefore only be removed and replaced together. | |
6 | Check ignition coils (3) and the spark plug connector for damage | If damage is present | |

7 | Discharge approx. Apply about 1 g of spark plug connector grease to the spark plug connector | | |

10 | Plug in electrical connections (1) together and lock | ||

13 | Read out fault memory and clear if necessary | ||
