Remove

Remove the compressor (1)

Clamp the fixing device (4) in the vise and, if necessary, install the correct adapter (4.1) on the fixing device (4)

 Use the respective adapter (4.1) for the drive gear (2).

Install the compressor (1) on the fixing device (4)

Loosen the nut (3)

 Note the left-hand thread of the nut (3).
The nut (3) must remain in the axle to prevent the fall of the drive gear (2).

Loosen the drive gear (2)

 If necessary, extract the drive gear (2) using an three-claw pull-off device (300 mm).

Remove the nut (3)

Remove the drive gear (2) from the compressor (1)

 If the drive gear (2) is replaced due to a damage, the drive gear of the drive mechanism must also be checked for damage.



Install

Install the drive gear (2) on the compressor (1)

Tighten the nut (3)

 Note the left-hand thread of the nut (3)

 Nut (left-hand thread) of the drive gear in the compressor

Remove the compressor (1) from the fixing device (4)

Install the compressor (1)
