Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter.

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).

Remove screws (3) and remove boost pressure regulator (Y77/1) until the vacuum hoses (1) are accessible.

Mark vacuum hoses (1) relative to the respective connection.

Detach vacuum hoses (1) from the boost pressure regulator (Y77/1) and remove boost pressure regulator (Y77/1).

Installation: Observe markings of the vacuum hoses (1).

Remove damping from the boost pressure regulator (Y77/1).

8

Install in the reverse order.

9

Read out and delete fault memory.
