3 | Open maintenance flap at right rear | ||
4 | Remove interior flap above engine | ||

5 | Remove injection lines MR/PLD (1) from pressure pipe connection (2) pressure screws | Do not bend injection lines MR/PLD (1). Counterhold pressure pipe connection (2) pressure screws using a box wrench. Close off bores on pressure pipe connection using suitable caps. | |

6 | Remove injection lines MR/PLD (1) from MR/PLD unit pumps | Do not bend injection lines MR/PLD (1). Close off bores on MR/PLD unit pumps using suitable caps. | |

7 | Retighten pressure pipe connection (2) pressure screws on cylinder head | ||

8 | attach injection lines MR/PLD (1) to MR/PLD unit pumps | Do not bend injection lines MR/PLD (1). Observe correct installation position of injection lines MR/PLD (1). | |

9 | Attach injection lines MR/PLD (1) to pressure pipe connection (2) pressure screws | Do not bend injection lines MR/PLD (1). Counterhold pressure pipe connection (2) pressure screws using a box wrench. Observe correct installation position of injection lines MR/PLD (1). | |

10 | Clip electrical cables onto battery | ||

11 | Start engine | If the engine fails to start after 30 seconds, repeat starting procedure after 1 minute. | |
12 | Check MR/PLD injection lines (1) for leaks | Leaky MR/PLD injection lines (1) must never be retightened. Leaky MR/PLD injection lines (1) must be replaced by new Leaky MR/PLD injection lines (1). | |
13 | Turn off engine | ||
14 | Install interior flap above engine | ||
15 | Close right rear maintenance flap | ||
16 | Close engine compartment flap |
