Remove/install

Remove intake manifold

Release fuel line (3) at fuel distributor (1), and remove

Collect escaping fuel and seal connections.

Record plug

Separate electrical connections (6)

Remove electrical wiring harness (4)

To do this, remove retaining clips (2).

Remove screws/bolts (5)

Screw/bolt, fuel distributor to cylinder head

Remove fuel distributor (1) with injection valves (7) from cylinder head

Replace sealing rings (9) on injection valves (7)

On reuse of installed injection valves (7).

Install in the reverse order

Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
