Remove alternator poly-V-belt

Lay poly-V-belt (1) around the belt pulley (2) and fix in place with a cable tie (arrow)

Do not use anything other than the vehicle's own poly-V-belt (1) since this could damaged disassembling the belt pulley (2).

Lead poly-V-belt (1) over the bracket (3)

Remove bolt (4) through the access opening in the fender liner

Installation: Clean bolt (4) and the tapped hole in the crankshaft.

Coat bolt thread (4) with engine oil.

The poly-V-belt (1) with cable tie (arrow) must be moved through 180° to tighten the bolt (4) on the belt pulley (1).

Remove belt pulley (2)

Install in reverse order

Flywheel, driven plate, vibration damper, starter ring gear
