Remove front crankshaft radial sealing ring

1 Attach extractor and installer (1) on crankshaft flange using bolts (2).
When tightening bolts (2) ensure that the extractor and installer (1) does not touch the crankshaft radial sealing ring; remove bolt (3) if necessary.

2 Screw in bolt (3) until the extractor and installer (1) touches crankshaft radial sealing ring.

3 Using existing bores bring extractor and installer (1) through two bores (3.5 mm Ø) onto crankshaft radial sealing ring.
Bring bores into position to oppose each other diagonally.

4 Tighten crankshaft radial sealing ring onto extractor and installer (1) using two sheet metal screws (4).
Use sheet metal screws M4,825

5 Screw in bolt (3) until crankshaft radial sealing ring is pulled out of front housing cover (5).

6 Remove extractor and installer (1) with crankshaft radial sealing ring from crankshaft flange.

7 Unscrew sheet metal screws (4)
