Suction off engine oil

Installation: Check seal for oil pan (1) according to engine test run.

Detach vacuum reservoir (2) and lay with attached vacuum line to the side

Remove screws (3) and bracket (4) for vacuum reservoir (2)

Remove screw/bolts on oil pan (1)

The oil pan (1) is attached by fourteen screw/bolts to the cylinder crankcase.

Detach oil pan (1) from the crankcase using the knife and take off

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and threaded holes in cylinder crankcase as well as in timing case cover.

Apply sealant in the form of a bead with a height and width of about 3 mm of the sealing surface of the oil pan (1).
