1 Inspect sealing surface of crankcase (3) for cracking and damage.
2 Inspect sealing surface of crankcase (3) using a straightedge (1) and check for flatness using a suitable feeler gauge (2) according to the diagram.
Checking in area "D" is only possible for engines 122.9 and 135.9.
