Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

Fire, sparks, open flames or smoking forbidden.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Switch off ignition

Secure engine to prevent it from being started unintentionally.

Open cap of fuel tank

To release any pressure which may have built up.

Unscrew cap (1) from housing of fuel filter (4)

Remove filter element (3)

Collect fuel which flows out.

Installation: Install new filter element and new sealing ring (2). Rub in sealing ring (2) with clean fuel.

Install in the reverse order

Start engine and inspect housing of fuel filter (4) for leaks
