Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Open tank lock

Relieve pressure in the fuel tank.

Clean fouled fuel prefilter on the outside

Remove air filter element (3)

Remove screw cap (1) and pull out of filter housing (4) together with filter element (3).

Ensure that no foreign bodies enter the filter housing (4). Do not wipe the filter housing (4) under any circumstances.

Clean screw cap (1) and filter element (3)

Replace filter element (3) if severely soiled or damaged.

Inspect seal (2), replace according to condition

Lightly grease or oil new seal (2).

Wit on screw cap (1) with filter element (3) and tighten

Start engine

Bleed fuel system.

Run the engine for Approx... 1 minute. The fuel system is bled automatically.

Check leaktightness of fuel prefilter
