Pretensioning of the pneumatic cylinder assembly
Check

Remove the ball terminal (2) lock and detach the pneumatic cylinder rod (1) of the engine-brake actuator
Apply high-temperature grease.

Check the throttle shaft movement for smoothness

Examine air cylinder (1), joint part and flap shaft for wear

Check the secure lever attachment to the throttle grooved end

Adjust the pneumatic cylinder assembly pretensioning (C)
This measurement will be correctly adjusted when the pneumatic cylinder rod is pulled according to corresponding measure.
Pretensioning eliminates the vibration caused by the valve (throttle), thus avoiding premature wear on the engine-brake assembly.
