Remove/install

Take off cover (1)

The cover (1) is fastened at the left rear on the roof using screws (2).

Remove air filter element (3)

Remove bolt (5) to do this.

Installation: Mark the installation date of the new air filter element (3) using a water-resistant marker on the front or on a label. Ensure it is correctly seated on the sealing surfaces.

Clean interior and sealing surfaces of air filter housing

Replace seal (4) and rubber buffer (6)

Check hose clamp is in perfect condition, replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Actuate release on maintenance indicator

Only necessary, if the red field in the inspection glass on the maintenance indicator has latched into place.

Confirm replacement of air filter insert (3) in the maintenance booklet
