Open engine hood

Detach the charge air hose (1) at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Loosen screws (2a)

The screws (2a) remain in the top section of the air filter housing (2).

Remove the top section of the air filter housing (2)

Do not detach the electrical connector at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5). Place the top section of the air filter housing (2) in the engine compartment.

Lift the top section of the air filter housing (2) in the front and pull it out from the guides of the top section of the air filter housing (3) at the back.

Take out air cartridge (4)

Replace air filter element (4), do not clean

Clean

Clean the top section (2) and the bottom section (3) of the air filter housing from inside

Cleaner from package

Install in the reverse order

Installation: Check the charge air hose (1) on the turbocharger for firm seating.
