Only reset intervals for service work which has already been performed. A mistaken reset cannot be canceled.
The operating safety or road safety of the vehicle can be endangered as a result.

The saved oil data for the engine and transmission oil must match the oil quality (sheet number of
MB-Specifications for Operating Fluids) and oil viscosity (SAE grade) of the oil poured into the engine and transmission.
Change these values if necessary.

Request service plant or service appointments
- Turn the key in the steering wheel lock into the drive mode.
The basic menu is displayed in the display (4).
- Press button (1) until the brief text "MOT" is shown in the display (4) as well as the date or the kilometer distance to the next service appointment.
- Press button (2) until the desired service plant is displayed in the multifunction display (4).
For each service plant the date or kilometer distance up to the next maintenance is displayed in the display (4).
- Press button (3) in order to exit the menu and to change into another menu.
Confirming service work (reset intervals)
- Request service plant in display (4).
- Press reset button (5) (e.g. with a ball-point pen) and hold for 1 second.
The maintenance system resets the service date displayed.
Call up and change the stored oil data
- Press the button (1) repeatedly until the tool symbol with the brief text "MOT" and the sheet no. of the MB-Specifications for Operating Fluids is shown in the display (4).
- Press button (2) until the desired menu
Engine oil quality
Engine oil viscosity
Fuel sulfur content or
Transmission oil quality
is displayed.
- Press the reset button (5) (e.g. using a ball-point pen) repeatedly until the viscosity or quality (sheet no. of MB-Specifications for Operating Fluids) of the oil used in the engine or transmission is shown in the display (4).
Select the fuel sulfur content as per the country code list.
- Press key (3) in order to change back into the basic menu.
