Constant throttle and engine brake can be used together as a continuous brake from 900 rpm and are switched on either by means of the engine brake foot switch or the retarder operating lever (stage 1 to 5). Emergency cutoff: The constant throttle together with the engine brake and the ELAB forms the emergency cutoff for the EDC system. The constant throttle interrupts the combustion process. |
